Minnesota Distance Elite

Welcome Minnesota Distance Elite!

We’ve created a baseline panel for your team that looks at some of the key biomarkers for endurance athletes, which includes iron, b-vitamins, hemoglobin, and several others markers.

The cost of the MN Elite Distance Baseline Panel will be covered by your team. Click on the product image below for full details

If you’d like to upgrade or purchase add-on tests you can use the code MNelite25 for 25% off.

After you order, you will receive an email with your lab form (within one business day) with full instructions. After that, you’ll head over to any LabCorp (find a location). It might be better to schedule an appointment beforehand. The time of day you are tested for this panel is not essential, but you may want to schedule your blood test after an easy day. Please make sure you are hydrated but don’t overdo it. If you take supplements, you may want to hold them a day or two before the blood test; however, some athletes like to know their levels with the supplement. Fasting might also give a more accurate read of some of the markers but is not mandatory.

If you add on cortisol or testosterone, you’ll want to get your blood tested in the morning.

Since 2007, Athlete Blood Test has been the leader in individualized, athlete-focused blood analysis to help athletes improve their nutrition, training, and recovery—and ultimately their performance in and enjoyment of their sport.

How do we do it?   Over the years, we’ve reviewed blood and genetic test results from thousands of athletes.  Using this data, our athlete questionnaire, and third-party research, we’ve identified blood and genetic biomarkers predictive of performance, recovery, and training tolerance for athletes, and precision-profiled individual nutrient-related physiological tendencies.  Our proprietary algorithm, combined with a hands-on expert review of each test, identifies ideal micronutrient ranges for individual athletes based on gender, age, training, and competition frequency, duration, and intensity, and sport.
