Make sure to use Saturday Labels if shipping the specimen on Friday. Avoid drawing the specimen on the day before a holiday. Shipping delays on Sundays or holidays can compromise the sample. If you must draw on Saturday or the day before a Holiday, keep the specimen refrigerated as long as possible before shipping.
